Remstrup Å is in our backyard, it is possible to test your skills on the water. Just 500 meters from our hostel is the Silkeborg Canoe and Kayak center where you can rent a canoe, kayak or dinghy.

If you are fit and have good arms, you can paddle to Himmelbjerget and back on a day trip, but it requires something of you as it is a trip of 22 km round trip. Canoes, kayaks and dinghies can be rented both by the hour and on a full-day basis.
