The Silk Route is Silkeborg's new experience route that takes you through beautiful nature, historical attractions and cultural gems close to Silkeborg town centre. The route is 12 km.

The route offers the opportunity to visit Silkeborg's cozy town center and for several cultural and historical detours. It leads past Museum Jorn, Silkeborg Museum, Aqua Aquarium and Animal Park and Art Center Silkeborg Bad.

In the forest around Silkeborg Bad, you can experience several traces from the Second World War, including trenches and bunkers.
