A climbing course is a long series of steel wire strung out between the treetops and with obstacles in between each treetop.

A climbing course is a long series of steel wires strung out between the treetops and with activities/obstacles between each treetop. The activities are ladders, stumps, ropes, nets, balance beams, slides, arm walk, trapeze and much, much more – not least lots of long, fun cable cars! On each tree on the course there is a platform that leads to the next activity.

The age limits below are indicative, but expect that a child younger than the recommended one needs a lot of help from an adult and must be followed 1:1 on the courts. The age limit can, with the instructor's approval, be waived on track 6, if you as a parent judge that your child has the courage and strength to be on the track.

Klatreparken Silkeborg uses safety equipment from KOALA Equipment, which is a closed safety system. Our guests' climbing belay stays on the belay wire all the way around the track, which is why it is not possible to suddenly be without a belay. The system is easy and intuitive to use, so everyone can participate.

We point out that there is a lot of resin in the trees and on the pitches. We encourage you to wear clothes that you are not sensitive to lose.
